When it comes to content moderation on Facebook, particularly when reviewing content for hate speech violations, well, Facebook has very different ideas about what is and isn’t hate speech that is glaringly obvious.

This comment, well Facebook had no issues deciding that it did in fact violate hate speech rules and needed to be removed, even after the user requested a 2nd review, Facebook came back and confirmed their decision.

Then, there was this comment that Facebook felt was completely within their rules of allowable content, and was protected from removal on their platform.

So one comment which references white people IS hate speech, while a comment which is saying all black people are ruining every country is NOT hate speech? Hmmm, strange how actual racism on Facebook never seems to be a problem for Facebook.
